The State of Georgia is seeking a Federal Work Study Student to serve as a Financial Aid Receptionist at Southern Crescent Technical College in Griffin. You will greet visitors, handle inquiries, route calls, and provide clerical support in the Financial Aid office.

The role requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours, SAP compliance and a high school diploma or GED. The position operates weekdays, 8:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with financial need and Pell eligibility.
• Student must be enrolled at Southern Crescent Technical College (minimum 6 credits) and SAP compliant.
• Strong customer service, organization and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Greet visitors and determine the nature of their business, routing to staff as needed.
• Answer, screen and route calls; deliver timely, accurate messages.
• Provide administrative support: filing, scanning, and basic office tasks.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, orderly Financial Aid office environment.
• Follow supervisor directions, observe policy on attendance and breaks.
