Job summary

Southwestern Oregon Community College is seeking student workers to assist in cleaning the student housing complex. Responsibilities include cleaning common areas, apartments, rooms and exterior of buildings within the complex.

Hours are 3 to 20 per week. You must be a current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits and eligible for Federal Work-Study (FWS) based on FAFSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits.
• Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and a minimum GPA of 2.0.
• Must be eligible to receive FWS based on financial need and FAFSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cleaning common areas, apartments, rooms, and exterior of buildings in student housing complex.
• Clean Lighthouse Depot offices, laundry room, bathrooms, and television/game room.
• Clean other laundry rooms, computer lab, and study lounge; sweep and clean stairwells; maintain trash detail around housing complex.
• Move furniture and perform setups for programs; lawn and gardening functions as needed.

Clean Lighthouse Depot offices, laundry room, bathrooms, and television/game room. Clean other laundry rooms, computer lab, and study lounge. Sweep and clean stairwells in all buildings. Maintain trash detail around housing complex. Clean and prepare rooms and apartments as necessary for residents. Move furniture and perform setups as needed for programs. Perform lawn and gardening functions as needed.

Must be current degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 6 credits.

Must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Must be eligible to receive FWS based on financial need and eligibility requirements determined by FAFSA.
