Job summary

Skydio, the leading US drone company, seeks a driven Solutions Engineer to lead technical discovery and implementation with federal customers. You will translate requirements into achievable plans and demonstrate Skydio's product lines to win deals.

You will partner with Product, Engineering and Sales to deliver autonomous solutions on schedule, drive POCs, support RFIs/RFPs, and ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

5+ years of technical experience in UAV/systems engineering.
Technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent combo of education and technical sales.
US citizenship due to government contract eligibility.
Ability to travel up to 50% including international travel.
Experience with federal contracting validation and RFIs/RFPs.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with federal customers and demonstrate product features.
Set up demonstrations, troubleshoot systems, and present value to customers.
Lead system validation and customer implementations for successful deployments.
Provide SME input to Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
Support RFIs/RFPs and product roadmap with customer insights.
