Job summary

ASM Research seeks a Training Specialist, Mid to design and deliver end-to-end training programs that help users, support staff, and managers adopt new systems in a federal environment. The role conducts needs analyses, defines learning objectives, and develops blended curricula that combine instructor-led sessions, virtual training, e-learning, and performance support materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in education, training, HR, IT, or related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in technical training or instructional design.
• Proficient in instructional design methodologies and adult-learning principles.
• Experience designing and delivering training for technical systems or complex processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple training initiatives and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform training needs analyses and define learning objectives for diverse user groups.
• Design blended training solutions (classroom, virtual, e-learning, simulations).
• Translate complex concepts into practical examples aligned with real program use cases.
• Create reusable templates and standards for consistent course delivery.
• Configure LMS to manage curricula, enrollments, and training metrics.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual trainings and adjust delivery based on feedback.
• Partner with IT, product teams, and project teams to stay aligned with releases.
• Support change-management activities related to new system rollouts.
