Job summary

Wayne State University is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to provide subcontract management support to the Materials Sector within the Contracts and Grants Office. The role covers pre-award and post-award subcontract administration, including development of subcontract documents, modifications, cost analysis, processing invoices, and initiating subcontract closeouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to meet deadlines, strong attention to detail, and a focus on superior customer service.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills combined with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning, problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills.
• Must be able to manage a consistent workload in a deadline driven environment.
• Ability to build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels.
• U.S. citizen and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance due to government contracting.
