Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Subcontracts professional to manage awards, oversee reviews, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and CPSR. You will work with project managers, procurement, and finance to align subcontracting strategies with program goals.

The role requires 7+ years in subcontracts, strong negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced matrixed environment, supporting Federal Civilian and DoD programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience or equivalent.
• Experience managing subcontracts under Prime awards (Cost Reimbursable, FP, T&M).
• FAR/DFARS, NDA, TA best practices, CPSR compliance experience.
• ERP and CLM systems proficiency with data analytics preferred.
• Fast-paced, matrixed environment with minimal oversight.
• Experience supporting Federal Civilian and/or DoD programs.

Responsibilities

• Compile, analyze, and maintain subcontract data and history.
• Identify and resolve complex subcontract issues independently.
• Prepare/subcontract awards, task orders, and modifications per gov regulations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve disputes.
• Evaluate proposals based on pricing, capabilities, and history.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance on strategies.
• Represent the company with subcontractors, suppliers, and government reps.
• Assist knowledge sharing and internal trainings.
