Chartis Federal is seeking an experienced Staffing Specialist to support the customer’s civilian human resources program. The successful candidate will have extensive experience developing federal vacancy announcements, conducting job analyses, supporting recruitment actions, and using USA Staffing and USA Hire.

• Six or more years providing federal staffing support services.
• Expert knowledge of USA Staffing and USA Hire.
• Experience drafting federal vacancy announcements and recruitment docs.
• Experience conducting job analyses and best-qualified determinations.
• Knowledge of OPM qualification standards and merit-system principles.
• Ability to interpret federal regs, DHS policies, and agency rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Draft new vacancy announcements and suggest modifications.
• Enter and maintain vacancy data in federal staffing systems.
• Post approved announcements to USAJOBS and other platforms.
• Conduct job analyses to measure applicant qualifications.
• Develop recruitment documentation including criteria and screening factors.
• Prepare summaries of best-qualified candidates.
• Coordinate with Government HR and experts on requirements.
• Generate and distribute selection certificates per approval.
• Notify Coast Guard personnel when certificates are ready for review.
• Research applicable staffing regulations and procedures.
• Respond to staffing questions within authorized scope.
• Maintain complete staffing documentation and files.
• Protect sensitive applicant information from disclosure.
• Meet deadlines and quality standards for staffing products.
• Coordinate workload and priorities with Project Manager and Government HR.
