Job summary

SMX is seeking a SAP Practice Leader in Herndon, VA to own and grow the SAP portfolio across DoD and civilian agencies. You will lead SAP delivery, governance, and cross-functional teams, driving revenue, margin, and client outcomes with secure cloud strategies.

You will manage resource development, project methodologies, and stakeholder escalation while shaping offerings like ECC-to-S/4HANA migrations, RISE with SAP, and SAP BTP extensions. A strong federal SAP background is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years SAP experience including leadership of SAP programs.
• Led at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA or ECC implementation.
• Proven track record winning federal SAP work.
• Deep familiarity with federal financial management systems.
• Experience owning revenue and margin for a business line.
• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain; Top Secret preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision and KPIs for the SAP portfolio.
• Hire and develop SAP resources; manage capacity and succession.
• Own P&L and delivery quality for SAP programs and projects.
• Manage revenue, margin, utilization and pricing approvals.
• Define market positioning and SAP service offerings.
• Maintain relationships with SAP sales and partners.
• Build repeatable delivery accelerators and roadmaps.
