Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Federal Program Manager within the Federal Sales PMO. The role focuses on governing contracts and programs, delivering projects with senior leadership support, and coordinating across teams to meet government customer needs.

The position requires 5+ years of federal PM experience, an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, and willingness to relocate or reside in VA/MD for on-site client work. PMP/DAWIA certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Federal Government Project/Program Management experience.
• Hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Communicate directly with the customer on the government domain.
• Experience leading on site customer meetings at government facilities. Candidate must reside in VA or MD based on client locations.
• Proven knowledge of US government/military contracting regulations and processes (FAR/DFAR).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement contract and program management policies, procedures, standards and best industry practices.
• Provide leadership and direction to project managers and teams, ensuring resources and support for success.
• Review progress and identify potential risks.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address contractual risks and issues.
• Facilitate communication between cross-organizational teams and the customer.
• Provide regular status updates and contractual/programmatic reports to senior management and USG customers.
• Lead program reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other functional areas to align strategic/sales activities.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance program management processes and tools.
