Job summary

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. Sales Manager responsible for expanding Supermicro's government and data center customer base in targeted areas.

The Sr. Sales Manager will also be responsible for maintaining the quality, efficiency, and integrity of Supermicro's sales process through marketing activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Logistics, and Programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, engineering or similar fields.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a Federal sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Approach government and data center customers in DOE-focused sectors.
• Outreach via cold calls to potential customers such as system integrators, VARs, OEMs.
• Qualify opportunities and create target lists for vertical markets.
• Develop relationships and communicate product and market information.
• Monitor inventory, negotiate prices, enter and monitor start of orders, handle credit issues and returns.
• Build supervisor customer service relationships with prospects.
• Consistently achieve lead generation and quota attainment.
• Produce reports as necessary.
