Job summary

SierTeK Ltd. seeks a Knowledge Management Specialist to support AFRL at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. The role focuses on managing FOIA, PA programs, and enterprise records governance in a highly regulated government environment.

You will ensure compliance with DoD/DAF information governance, maintain risk controls, and advise leadership on records lifecycle management and privacy best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's with relevant experience.
• Experience administering FOIA programs and knowledge of federal records management.
• Experience safeguarding PII, CUI and sensitive government information.
• Experience preparing official correspondence and executive briefings for senior leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage FOIA program in accordance with DAF/AFRL policies.
• Log, track, and distribute FOIA requests; maintain tracking systems.
• Coordinate with leadership and FOIA Office; train FOIA POCs.
• Coordinate review, redaction, approval, and submission of FOIA responses.
• Archive FOIA cases per records retention requirements.
• Administer Privacy Act program; process PA requests.
• Develop and maintain PIIs, SORNs, and other governance documents.
• Coordinate records management using Content Server/Livelink and other systems.
• Ensure electronic records are classified, tagged, searchable, and securely maintained.
• Maintain compliance with Federal Records Act, NARA, AFRL, DAF policies.
