Job summary

CJW Contractors, Inc. (CJW) is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to own the QC program on federal construction projects from Day 1.

You will manage three-phase QC inspections, submittals, NCRs, and government interface while not supervising field crews. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in federal QC, served as named QC Manager on at least three projects, holds active CQM-C, OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, and base access.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of federal QC or QC Manager experience on government construction projects.
• Named QC Manager on at least three completed federal projects (NAVFAC/USACE/GSA).
• Experience with UFGS 01 45 00.00 20 (NAVFAC) or ER 1110-1-12 (USACE).
• Experience on occupied federal facilities with phased QC inspections.
• Per diem mobility across multiple states preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the three-phase QC inspection process for every DFOW, with sign-offs.
• Produce daily CQC/NCR reports and manage non-conformances.
• Maintain QC documentation; manage submittals and approvals with government reps.
• Coordinate with Designers of Record and Site Superintendent as gatekeeper.
• Interface with NAVFAC QAR/USACE QA reps and present weekly QC summaries.
