Job summary

Place Services, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio is seeking a Quality Control Manager for Federal Commercial Construction projects.

The QCM will create and implement the project Quality Control plan and collaborate with the onsite Superintendent and SSHO to safely complete USACE work. Responsibilities include serving as the on-site CQC lead, conducting daily inspections, preparing QC and test reports, and managing submittals and RFIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a QCM on Federal / Government / USACE construction projects.
• Current OSHA 30 and CQMC certifications (within last 5 years).
• Experience implementing a three-phase Quality Control (QC) plan on USACE projects.
• Proficient with USACE RMS and other reporting software.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the V-Line onsite Construction Quality Control (CQC) point person.
• Conduct daily inspections and coordinate quality inspections.
• Create daily and weekly QC reports, test reports, and maintain quality control records.
• Create, review, and/or manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation.
