Job summary

HDR is seeking a Federal Project Manager to join our Federal Business Group. This role is located in our Omaha, NE office and will lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams on federal projects.

You will plan, manage, and coordinate project scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating with clients and stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of related experience, and strong communication skills; PMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active participant in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects.
• Coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development.
• Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance.
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.
• Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule.
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule.
• Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed
