Job summary

HDR is looking for a Federal Project Manager to join our Federal Business Group. This position is located in our Omaha, NE office.

In this role, you will plan and manage projects, coordinate design teams, establish client relations, and track financials to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects.
• Coordinate work of professional staff through project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies for compliance.
• Coordinate workload through project development and ensure on-schedule completion.
• Track financial aspects of projects and coordinate with team to meet schedule.
• Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller for project reviews.
• Perform other duties as needed.

HDR is looking for a Federal Project Manager to join our Federal Business Group. This position is located in our Omaha, NE office.

In the role of Federal Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

• Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects
• Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development
• Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance
• Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff
• Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule
• Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule
• Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed
• Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• A license/certification
• PMP certification
• Design experience

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 7 years related experience
• A minimum of 2 years project management experience
• Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
