Olsson is seeking a Project Manager III for our Federal Engineering & Design Team in the United States. You will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering high‑impact infrastructure projects for federal clients, including military bases, VA campuses, and other government facilities.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality across complex civil and vertical construction efforts. You will work with federal stakeholders to ensure compliance with UFC, DoD, VA, and other standards, guiding

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of project experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction with increasing responsibility.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience delivering federal DoD/VA projects.
• Knowledge of federal design standards, acquisition processes, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.
• Mentoring and team development experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management for federal facilities.
• Define scopes, schedules, budgets, and oversee execution.
• Assemble and manage multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and risk.
• Oversee preparation of design plans, cost estimates, and RFP responses.
• Lead design reviews and implement QA plans.
• Maintain project records.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvements.
• Cultivate client relationships to support future opportunities.
