Job summary

Olsson's Federal Engineering & Design Team seeks a Project Manager II to lead federal infrastructure projects. You will oversee project scope, schedule, and budgets, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance with UFC, DoD, VA standards for mission-critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of project experience in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction with increasing responsibility.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Proven success managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering federal projects for DoD/VA.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments with precision and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead federal design teams, aligning technical expertise with project goals and applicable federal requirements.
• Define and communicate project scope with technical teams; develop schedules and budgets with clients and contractors.
• Develop and manage budgets, monitor costs, and ensure client satisfaction and project success.
• Serve as primary client contact; ensure alignment on expectations and regulatory compliance.
• Identify risks and changes; implement mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.
• Manage contracts, change orders, and negotiations; coordinate with disciplines on billing and requirements.
• Develop and implement quality plans to meet client expectations and firm standards.
• Lead project meetings and maintain project documentation.
