Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Government Program Development Manager to grow the Starshield and AI business across U.S. Federal Civil agencies.

Develop and execute strategies for government stakeholder engagement, lead capture efforts, and drive a development pipeline for satellite communications and AI enterprise solutions. This role requires travel, on-site work in Washington, DC, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, account management, sales, or US Government acquisition.
• Experience engaging with federal civilian agencies and procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, build, and maintain relationships with key Federal Civil agency decision-makers, program managers, and technical evaluators across communications and AI portfolios
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing programs, expanding space sensing, satellite communications and AI solutions into quantifiable new revenue sources
• Shape and support SpaceX responses to RFIs, RFPs, Sources Sought, and other government solicitations including pricing, technical volume, strategy, and win themes
• Collaborate with engineering, customer ops, finance, and other internal units to drive sales results
• Dive deep into U.S. Government connectivity, satellite communications, AI, and compute markets to identify opportunities
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams with engineering, mission management, finance, and contracts in program development
• Refine engagement roadmap based on internal strategies and customer feedback
