Job summary

Prescient Edge is seeking a Procurement Manager to support a federal government client in Florida. You will lead procurement workflows for software, hardware, and cloud services, and negotiate vendor agreements to meet program deadlines.

Applicants must understand DoD policies (DFARS/FAR), manage budgets, and coordinate license requirements across multiple Work Orders. A bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain, or 5 years of related experience, is required; US citizenship and ability to

Qualifications

• Oversee procurement lifecycle, including vendor negotiations and acquisition strategy.
• Ensure compliance with DoD procurement policies.
• Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills.
• Expertise in DFARS and FAR processes for procurement.
• Experience with federal procurement regulations and acquisition documentation.
• Ability to align strategies with DoD policies and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement workflows for software, hardware, and cloud services.
• Negotiate vendor agreements, manage contracts, and track procurement against budgets.
• Submit the Procurement & Acquisition Status Report detailing POs, vendor performance, and allocations.
• Coordinate with Work Orders to validate software licenses and licenses needs across the program.
• Assist Government in negotiating chargeback structures and shared software agreements.
• Maintain a centralized license and services ledger for forecast and reconciliation.
