Job summary

Guidehouse Inc. seeks a Power Platform Developer and Innovation Specialist to support a federal DOW client’s front-office modernization.

Design and build Power Automate workflows, Canvas and Model-driven apps, and AI-enabled capabilities within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem to deliver value in an agile cadence. Collaborate with the Business Systems Analyst to translate requirements into sprint-ready tasks while ensuring compliance with the DON’s approved tech environment, security, accreditation,

Qualifications

Minimum of SIX (6) years of professional experience.
Minimum of TWO (2) years delivering Power Platform solutions.
Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
Experience building Canvas Apps and Power Automate end-to-end, including intake, routing, and approvals.
Experience configuring SharePoint as a structured document repository with metadata, libraries and permissions.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for inbox-driven task identification, action item routing, multi-step approvals, and exception handling.
Automate document detection, ingestion, and periodic summarization into SharePoint for centralized knowledge management.
Design and configure SharePoint as a centralized repository for documents and records.
Build intake tools using Microsoft Forms or Canvas Apps for standardized capture and routing of meeting requests and action items.
Design and build Canvas Apps with guided workflows and embedded automation for non-technical executives and front-office users.
Connect Canvas Apps to Dataverse, SharePoint, and third-party data sources via connectors and custom APIs.
Implement RBAC, row-level security, and table permissions.
Configure AI Builder, Copilot Studio, or Azure AI for predictive task modeling and document summarization.
Support integration of Power BI dashboards for executive visibility into metrics and sprint progress.
Modernize front-office processes through targeted automation.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and retrospectives.
