Job summary

Salas O’Brien in Baltimore, MD is seeking an Associate Project Manager to advance Navy partnership initiatives from concept to agreement and implementation. This role focuses on federal partnerships, infrastructure programs, and real estate, coordinating with legal, financial, and operational stakeholders to deliver actionable agreements.

You will draft agreements, briefing materials, and documentation, supporting day-to-day execution under the guidance of the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills in a project-based environment.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting government, consulting, infrastructure, real estate, economic development, community planning, military installation planning, or federal program work preferred.
• Interest in real estate, infrastructure, partnerships, or federal programs.
• This role is best suited for candidates with project coordination or project management experience in government, infrastructure, real estate, community planning, public-sector consulting, military installation planning, or federal program environments—not IT/software delivery.
• Other skills required: Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Exceptional time management skills
• Executes assignments with attention to detail
• Experience facilitating meetings, workgroups, and workshops
• Knowledge of local government, economic development, and community planning

Responsibilities

• Client Engagement & Coordination: Support day-to-day interaction with Navy clients and stakeholder organizations.
• Partnership Development (Core Focus): Support development of Public-Public and Public-Private partnership agreements.
• Project Execution: Execute projects against defined scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Analytical & Deliverable Support: Conduct research, data collection, and basic analysis to support project workstreams.
• Internal Team Support: Work under guidance of the Project Manager to prioritize and execute tasks.
