Job summary

Salas O’Brien is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support Navy N9 unaccompanied housing and barracks initiatives in Hawaii. You will coordinate planning, reporting, and execution while collaborating with Navy leadership and installation personnel to meet mission requirements and housing standards.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of project management experience in military housing or related programs, strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to travel ~20% for onsite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting unaccompanied housing, barracks, military facilities, installation planning, or related housing and infrastructure programs.
• Preferred experience supporting Navy or DoD clients.
• Excellent formal writing, planning, organization, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct program and project support to the Navy N9 office for unaccompanied housing and barracks initiatives, including planning, coordination, reporting, and execution support.
• Support assessments of barracks and unaccompanied housing assets, including facility condition, utilization, requirements, and compliance with standards.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with Navy leadership and stakeholders to advance housing program objectives.
• Conduct research, analysis, and data synthesis to support policy development and executive deliverables.
• Develop recommendations on Title 10 authorities to support Navy N9 objectives.
• Prepare reports and briefings communicating findings, priorities, risks, and actions.
