Job summary

A-TEK, Inc. seeks an Oracle Cloud Database Administrator to support a federal client in Silver Spring, MD. You will manage Oracle databases in OCI, perform backups, and coordinate with developers, infrastructure, and security teams.

The role requires on-site work with potential telework as assigned, Monday–Friday 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Eastern, with on-call as needed.US citizenship or eligible status required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on Oracle DB administration with production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Oracle administration, SQL/PLSQL, backup/recovery, performance troubleshooting, and Linux CLI.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle databases: configure, manage users, privileges, storage, and maintenance.
• Monitor health and performance; troubleshoot SQL, connectivity, capacity, and app issues.
• Perform backups/recovery; support DR, patching, and upgrades.
