Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Oracle DBA for a contract-to-hire position based in Fresno, CA. This remote role involves leading migrations of Oracle databases to Cloud Infrastructure, executing daily DBA tasks, and implementing data management solutions.

Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience, strong SQL knowledge, and familiarity with OCI. Competitive pay of $55-$70/hr is offered along with various medical benefits including 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Proven experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle tools (RMAN, Data Pump, OEM).
• Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support migration of Oracle databases to OCI.
• Implement and maintain data management solutions.
• Collaborate to develop cost-effective cloud strategies.
• Perform daily DBA tasks including monitoring and backups.
• Manage database security and user access.

Skills

Hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA
