Job summary

A-TEK Inc. is seeking an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Engineer to support a federal client in Silver Spring, MD. This on-site role involves implementing and operating OCI services, expanding delivery capacity, and automating infrastructure using Terraform.

You will coordinate with DBAs, developers, security, and other providers to ensure reliable production operations. Requirements include 4+ years in systems or infrastructure engineering with hands-on cloud deployment, OCI experience,

Qualifications

4+ years of systems or infrastructure engineering experience with at least 2 years of hands-on cloud deployment and operations.
OCI experience provisioning and supporting production infrastructure (compute, networking, load balancing).
Hands-on Terraform experience and working knowledge of Linux, network troubleshooting, and Bash or Python scripting.
Clear communication and ability to work through shared responsibilities, approvals, and change controls.

Responsibilities

Provision, configure, and maintain OCI compute, storage, and related infrastructure; support deployment.
Develop and maintain Terraform configurations and reusable infrastructure automation with controlled changes.
Configure and troubleshoot virtual networks, subnets, routing, security rules, and load balancers.
Coordinate connectivity among application, database, and cloud environments; work with cross-cloud teams.
Monitor availability, performance, and capacity; assist with backup, recovery, patching, and resilience.
