Job summary

Apscareerportal is seeking a Federal Programs Coordinator in Oklahoma to oversee CACFP, CSFP and SFSP, ensuring compliance with state and federal rules while managing operations and supervising a part-time team during the Summer Meals Initiative.

The role requires collaboration with internal departments to meet program goals, accurate reporting, budgeting support, and strong communication with partners and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of finance, budgets, and budgeting processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage CACFP, CSFP, and SFSP, including site selection, training, monitoring, compliance, reimbursement, and budgeting.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with program partners through visits, calls, and other direct communication.
• Coordinate with Culinary Department and Sourcing team to ensure meal volume and nutrition within budget.
• Supervise and support a part-time team throughout the Summer Feeding Initiative.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal food program regulations.
• Ensure all program policies regarding food handling, storage, and distribution are followed.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare required reports and reimbursement claims.
• Continuously assess and evaluate program effectiveness, implementing changes.
• Manage food sourcing, inventory, packing procedures, and transportation requests in collaboration with Operations staff and volunteer center coordinators.
• Track expenses, maintain organized records, and oversee program operations for efficiency.
• Represent the Food Bank at media and community partner events.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
