Job summary

The Nutrition Coordinator at CDSFC will oversee CACFP operations, including menu planning, procurement, and regulatory compliance. You will manage records, claims, and training to ensure accurate reporting and food safety across infants to preschoolers.

Responsibilities include kitchen management, dietary documentation, and collaboration with staff to deliver nutritious meals while maintaining CACFP standards and program integrity at the center in Wyoming.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years experience with food preparation and CACFP documentation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare nutritious breakfast, lunch and snacks for infants, toddlers and preschoolers following CACFP guidelines.
• Maintain CACFP program records, daily meal counts and monthly reporting requirements.
• Submit monthly CACFP claims for reimbursement.
• Attend necessary CACFP training to stay up to date.
• Document and adhere to food allergies.
• Prepare and arrange food for special occasions.
• Shop for food and supplies for the center.
• Complete purchase requisitions and code them per CACFP requirements.
• Maintain, clean and sanitize the kitchen and other assigned areas.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans and return them to the kitchen.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure quality food service.
• Maintain supplies in all first aid and cleanup kits.
