Job summary

City of Seattle seeks a seasoned supervisor for the Food and Nutrition Unit, overseeing 4 FTE coordinators, 1 FTE assistant, and 6 summer staff. You will supervise three federal childcare nutrition programs and ensure program compliance with federal rules.

You will coordinate CACFP trainings, track OSPI reimbursements, and partner with internal/external agencies to meet program requirements while supporting continuous process improvements and staff development.

Qualifications

• Requires three years in human services or contract administration with supervisory or lead experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required.
• Valid Washington State Driver License is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of nutrition specialists including 4 FTE coordinators and 1 FTE assistant coordinator; provide weekly 1:1s and annual evaluations.
• Oversee three direct service federal childcare nutrition programs and annual OSPI reimbursements.
• Coordinate annual and trimester CACFP trainings and lead program improvements.
