Job summary

Nominal is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer in Washington, D.C. to bridge software with real-world applications for Federal customers.

You will own project lifecycles, coordinate with government stakeholders, and tailor deployments to meet security and operational requirements. This in-office role provides exposure to DoD, DOE, and NASA programs, shaping mission-critical hardware and software integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical project management or managing product development lifecycles.
• Experience developing project plans with milestones, timelines, and interdependencies.
• Proven track record delivering on deadlines and managing project risks.
• Experience navigating Federal government processes and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior leaders.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Own entire project lifecycles and ensure on-time delivery for Federal customers.
• Translate technical and regulatory complexity into actionable program plans.
• Deploy and integrate Nominal's tech in client environments, including government networks.
• Build partnerships with government stakeholders and integration partners.
• Train users and support operations to maximize product adoption.
• Gather feedback for continuous product improvement.
• Serve as the bridge coordinating cross-functional teams and customers.
