Job summary

Dell is seeking a Systems Engineer - Federal Customer to design, integrate, validate, and sustain the technical infrastructure required for mission operations. The role emphasizes systems analysis, hardware integration, power and environmental considerations, test support, and thorough technical documentation.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on problem solving and the ability to translate requirements into robust, maintainable solutions in a secure, on-site environment, with TS/SCI

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering, hardware engineering, infrastructure engineering or related roles.
• Ability to analyze technical requirements and support system integration.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, validation, or lab/test activities.
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a secure operational environment.
• Active TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Support system design, requirements analysis, and technical solution development.
• Integrate and validate hardware, infrastructure, and subsystem components.
• Develop or execute test plans, procedures, and technical evaluations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving systems, hardware, or infrastructure.
• Contribute to rack, power, cooling, cabling, and physical integration planning as applicable.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, procedures, and support artifacts.
• Coordinate with security, network, automation, and field teams during implementation.
• Recommend improvements that enhance performance, reliability, and maintainability.
