Job summary

System One is seeking a Microsoft 365 and Azure Government Administrator to support an enterprise federal environment. You will provide hands-on administration for Microsoft 365, Azure Government, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and Intune, ensuring secure and compliant operations.

The role requires independent work with escalation to Senior Administrator for cross-platform issues, and experience in regulated environments. Remote work with occasional onsite in DC is offered.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Microsoft infrastructure administration
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in a federal or regulated environment
• Hands-on experience with Azure Government
• Experience with Intune device management and deployment
• Familiarity with Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365
• Experience with FedRAMP-authorized Microsoft services and federal security requirements
• PowerShell for Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, or Azure administration
• Familiarity with ITIL change and incident-management practices
• Knowledge of RBAC and least-privilege administration

Responsibilities

• Provide daily administration and support for Microsoft 365 including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams
• Manage configuration changes, service requests, and user administration per ITIL
• Monitor service health, performance, and availability of Microsoft 365
• Maintain configuration documentation and knowledge-base articles
• Support user provisioning, deprovisioning, and license management
• Assist with service updates, feature rollouts, and configuration improvements
• Administer Azure Government and Entra ID; manage access requests and MFA
• Coordinate with senior admins on complex issues
• Support Defender and endpoint security configurations and incident response
• Follow security, compliance, and governance procedures (FISMA, FedRAMP, NIST)
