Job summary

GovCIO is hiring a remote Microsoft 365 Administrator to support HUD. The role requires hands-on M365 administration with expertise in architecture design, tenant management, and identity services.

The candidate will manage Intune, Exchange Online, Entra ID, SSO/MFA, and RBAC, and will write/maintain PowerShell scripts for bulk actions. A bachelor’s degree with extensive M365 experience and a public trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of Microsoft 365 administration experience (or commensurate experience)
• Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a public trust clearance
• ITIL experience (preferred)
• Microsoft Certifications (preferred)
• SharePoint Online administration (preferred)
• Data governance and retention within Microsoft Purview (preferred)
• Additional cloud administration experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Mid to senior level administrator with hands-on Microsoft 365 administration experience
• Familiar with M365 architecture and design best practices
• Microsoft Tenant Subscription management
• Intune enrollment and management
• Exchange Online management
• Entra ID administration and synchronization
• Single Sign-On and MFA integration
• RBAC creation and maintenance
• Write and troubleshoot PowerShell scripts for bulk actions
