Job summary

Jobtailor in Washington DC is seeking a senior Microsoft infrastructure engineer to administer and optimize Microsoft 365, Azure Government, Entra identity governance, and Zero Trust architectures across FedRAMP environments.

You will lead service planning, policy enforcement, and incident response while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with NOC and ITSM teams. Strong security posture and certification requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Senior-level Microsoft infrastructure admin experience in enterprise environments.
• Proven expertise with Microsoft 365, Azure Government, and Entra in federal/private sectors.
• Strong skills in Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Exchange Online administration.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust across Microsoft platforms and FedRAMP for Azure Government.
• Certified in MS-102, AZ-104, SC-300 or equivalent and eligible for Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert admin, configuration, and engineering support for Microsoft 365.
• Lead planning and execution of service updates, rollouts, and changes under ITIL 4.
• Monitor service health, performance, and security posture; address issues proactively.
• Develop and maintain configuration standards, policies, and governance docs.
• Administer Exchange Online, Teams, and Defender for Office 365 configurations
