Arcadis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio to lead mechanical design for federal projects. This role involves mentoring junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with federal standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, at least 12 years of experience, and an active PE license. The salary range is $110,000–$180,000 based on experience and other factors.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for federal project work.
• Minimum 12 years of consulting engineering experience with strong federal project exposure.
• Proven experience delivering IFC design packages.
• Active Professional Engineering (PE) license in the U.S. (multi-state preferred).
• Strong communication skills (presentation, written, and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design teams and mentor junior staff.
• Design facilities across industrial, commercial, and institutional sectors.
• Support projects with USACE and NAVFAC.
• Engage in business development and client relationship building.
• Ensure compliance with federal and industry standards.
