Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead building mechanical and plumbing design for Federal projects, with responsibility for signing work and ensuring timely, accurate deliverables. The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, 5 years of HVAC/plumbing experience, and a PE license.

You will mentor and collaborate with a technical team, coordinate with other trades, and guide projects from concept through construction in a hybrid work arrangement. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5 years HVAC and Plumbing experience in a consulting engineering environment
• Professional Engineer License required
• US Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Lead Federal projects design and production efforts
• Manage mechanical project budgets, schedules and manpower
• Attend client review conferences
• Perform construction administration and field investigations
• Lead coordination with engineers of other disciplines and architects
• Apply code requirements and industry standards for mechanical and plumbing systems
