Job summary

CGS Federal seeks an experienced Law Clerk II to provide comprehensive litigation support for a large federal agency office in Washington, DC / Arlington, VA. The role involves assisting with all phases of litigation, trial preparation, and document review, using eDiscovery tools and databases such as LEXIS and Westlaw. A JD and U.S.

citizenship are required, with at least two years of relevant experience. This full-time, on-site position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities

Qualifications

• J.D. degree is required and U.S. citizenship.
• Minimum two years of progressively responsible experience on litigation support projects.
• Experience with civil federal litigation and jury trials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of litigation.
• Assist with trial preparation and related tasks.
• Review and analyze documents, transcripts, and files to locate information relevant to investigations.
• Use electronic databases to perform litigation support tasks (review, organize, index, tag, summarize).
• Conduct database searches for documents and information.
