The role requires supervisory experience, a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree, and LAT certification preferred. Excellent leadership and communication are essential in a dynamic research environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: LAT preferred / no license required.
• Work Experience: Relevant experience (4 years) in laboratory animal care and supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan, direct, supervise and coordinate daily activities of Animal Care Staff (up to 15 direct reports).
• Train staff on SOPs and daily duties; manage performance files and schedules.
• Provide facility walkthroughs and barrier training to PI staff; assist with procedures like animal identification, breeding and euthanasia.
