CGS Federal seeks an IT Project Manager to design, develop, and oversee diverse IT initiatives within a large federal entity. The role requires Agile leadership, project plan development, resource assessment, and active liaison for project execution.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years managing IT projects, experience in API and cloud/on-prem environments, and a track record of delivering on time and on budget. CGS emphasizes collaboration and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, CS, IS or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Leadership on 3+ IT projects delivered on time and on budget.
• Experience in IT systems design and development (Java/JavaScript).
• Knowledge of API management, REST and cloud/on-prem environments.
• 5+ years leading an Agile scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and schedule with value delivery.
• Organize and lead project status meetings.
• Prepare and distribute progress reports.
• Manage risks and issues; monitor deviations from plans.
• Develop initiatives for continuous business process improvements.
• Lead team decisions on system implementation and maintenance.
• Develop testing and training documentation.
• Deliver an Agile transformation plan.
• Provide technical analysis reports as directed by the Agency.
• Monitor cost, schedules, and quality of work.
