Job summary

CGS seeks an IT Project Manager to design, develop, and oversee IT projects for a federal entity. You will lead project planning, resource assessment, and management plans, while driving agile practices across teams and acting as a liaison for project information.

The role requires strong Agile experience, Java/JavaScript knowledge, API management, and the ability to deliver in complex environments, with potential security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Information Systems or related.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, with IT projects and leadership on multiple on-time on-budget efforts.
• Experience designing and developing IT systems using Java/JavaScript and API integrations.
• Knowledge of API management, RESTful APIs, and cloud/on-prem deployments.
• Strong Agile scrum experience with cross-functional teams and DevOps.
• Security clearance or eligibility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and schedule with regular value delivery.
• Lead project status meetings and distribute progress reports.
• Manage risks, issues, and delivery plans for assigned projects.
• Develop processes and guide agile transformation initiatives.
• Provide technical analyses to support agency discussions.
