Job summary

ICF seeks an Asset / Property Manager to own the full lifecycle of IT assets and personal property for a federal technology program, from procurement through secure disposal. This hands-on role reports to the Program Manager and requires accurate asset records, regular on-site inventories, and compliance with federal property management regulations.

Based in the Washington, DC area with hybrid work, the position requires in-country work and on-site inventory several months per year,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT asset management or federal personal property management.
• 2+ years managing asset lifecycle programs under federal property regulations.
• 2+ years coordinating with hardware or DaaS vendors on procurement/logistics.
• Experience with federal property systems of record such as NIH Sunflower/NBSC.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update a comprehensive inventory of IT assets and personal property in federal systems.
• Execute annual physical inventory cycle and reconcile discrepancies by year end.
• Deliver weekly inventory status reports to the PAO including shortages and software license status.
• Tag and label assets with required data such as serial number, model, and location.
• Coordinate with DaaS vendors on procurement logistics and asset intake.
• Support end-of-life asset disposal with secure data removal and documentation.
• Work with PAO to define inventory processes and audit reconciliation procedures.
• Support procurement activities with specifications, POs, and intake docs.
• Maintain audits documentation including depreciation schedules and vendor records.
• Identify assets nearing end of life and support lifecycle planning.
