Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Project Manager I to lead defined-scope federal projects and support multidisciplinary teams delivering infrastructure for military, VA, and government facilities. You will help establish scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while coordinating with internal teams, clients, and federal stakeholders.

You will develop project documentation, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with federal standards.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of project experience in Architecture, Engineering, and Construction.
• Active PE license or ability to obtain a PE.
• Experience supporting engineering/design projects from planning through delivery; federal exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of project scope, schedule, budget, quality, documentation, and basic financials.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and client service skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and escalate risks or changes appropriately.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage defined-scope federal projects and support larger or multidisciplinary teams.
• Define and communicate project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and budgets with technical teams, clients, and contractors.
• Track progress, resources, costs, and financial performance; report variances and impacts to leadership.
• Organize project teams by aligning expertise, assignments, and schedules with goals and federal requirements.
• Serve as day-to-day contact for project matters with clear communication to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UFC, DoD, VA, and other standards, contract requirements, and quality procedures.
• Identify risks, scope changes, schedule concerns, and costs; document issues and mitigation plans.
• Assist with contracts, change documentation, and billing under guidance of senior PMs.
• Plan, run, and document routine project meetings; capture decisions and action items.
• Maintain project records and support design plans, specs, correspondence, and performance data.
