Job summary

OEI is seeking a Project Manager with experience in military and federal projects to lead design and construction efforts for diverse federal contracts. You will manage scopes, schedules, budgets, and fee proposals while coordinating with stakeholders across multiple states and clients.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring, and strong communication to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in mentoring and leading team members.
  • Experience managing military or federal projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multidisciplinary project requirements, design schedules and budgets.
  • Assist in defining and developing project scope.
  • Develop and negotiate fee proposals.
  • Conduct client meetings and site visits.
  • Estimate labor hours, calculate direct costs, and establish project fees.
  • Monitor budgets, track schedules, and measure quality benchmarks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships to expand OEI's client base.
  • Identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure deliverables meet contractual requirements and client expectations.
