Must be located in the Washington, DC area. Potential for client-approved remote work. In this role, you will perform substantive federal position-classification work that directly affects organizational structure, position responsibilities, and compensation levels across the Coast Guard’s civilian workforce. You will write and revise position descriptions, conduct job evaluations, apply Office of Personnel Management classification standards, and prepare well-supported classification determinations and evaluation statements. The primary place of performance is USCG Headquarters in Washington, DC, with potential for Government-approved remote work for appropriate tasks.
The primary work location is the Douglas A. Munro Coast Guard Headquarters Building in Washington, DC. The position offers potential for remote or telework flexibility when approved by the Government and appropriate for the assigned work. Remote work is not guaranteed, and some duties may require onsite performance.
