Job summary

Terrestris seeks a Human Resources Generalist to lead the HR General Support contract for the FTC's HCMO. The role delivers benefits and retirement administration support, personnel action processing, and staff data management at FTC Headquarters in Washington, DC.

This on-site, full-time position operates 40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. You will maintain compliant records, provide excellent customer service, and adapt to evolving HCMO priorities while ensuring timely,

Qualifications

• 3 years of federal HR processing or benefits experience.
• Must pass background investigation.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Process personnel actions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Calculate retirement estimates and service history.
• Process benefits elections (FEHB, FEGLI, TSP).
• Complete new-hire onboarding packages.
• Submit weekly/biweekly activity updates to the Contracting Officer Representative.
• Support Open Season and ongoing benefits activities.
• Maintain HR and benefits records.
