Job summary

BD is seeking a National Account Executive, Government to drive growth across federal healthcare and government markets. You will build executive relationships with VA, DoD, IHS, NIH, CDC and other agencies, while coordinating with distributors to maximize contract opportunities and revenue.

The role requires strategic account planning, multi-stakeholder consensus-building, and about 50% travel across multi-state territories.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful sales experience in healthcare, diagnostics, medical devices, laboratory products, or capital equipment.
• Proven track record selling to VA and DoD/DHA in complex government healthcare environments.
• Experience influencing multi-stakeholder purchasing decisions including clinical, procurement, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth plans across federal healthcare accounts.
• Build executive-level relationships with healthcare leadership and procurement.
• Manage account plans for VISNs, VA Medical Centers, DHA Markets, and major military facilities.
• Forecast accurately and maintain opportunity pipelines and development plans.
