Job summary

Davenergy Solutions seeks an experienced Construction Manager/Construction Administrator to oversee healthcare facility projects for the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System. You will lead planning, design, construction, and closeout with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires coordination with VA personnel, architects, engineers, and contractors, managing schedules, budgets, quality, and compliance with federal regulations. Prior healthcare/VA exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
Fifteen (15) years of related CM experience may substitute for education.
Minimum six (6) years as Construction Manager/Architect/Engineer.
Seven (7) years managing facility construction projects including supervision, engineering/design coordination, schedule, cost, budget, PM.
Three (3) years field experience on similar size/complexity.
Knowledge of building codes, permitting, methods, QC, scheduling, cost estimating, risk management.
Ability to review documents and provide recommendations on scope changes.
Experience evaluating completed work for payment.

Responsibilities

Manage construction activities from pre-construction through project completion.
Coordinate with VA personnel, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Review documents, drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and proposals.
Monitor performance, quality, safety, schedule, and cost throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct site visits to verify progress and compliance.
Assist in preparing schedules, cost reports, and risk assessments.
Identify risks and notify Government of potential delays or issues.
Support QA/S Surveillance Program (QASP) compliance.
Review modifications to scope, schedules, and budgets as needed.
Ensure building codes, life safety, permitting, and federal standards.
