Job summary

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a Healthcare Staff Recruiter/Account Manager to support a federal contract with the VA/VHA. You will coordinate pre- and post-award staffing activities, manage a network of teaming partners, and ensure credentialing and compliance across contracts to deliver timely healthcare staffing to Veterans.

You will build strong relationships with government stakeholders, screen candidates, negotiate salary, and guide onboarding with support from the ICSP team,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience leading or managing a large partner or vendor network.
• Experience staffing or recruiting under the Service Contract Act (SCA).
• Familiarity with healthcare staff credentialing, training, and onboarding.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance, if required.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and execution of temporary healthcare staffing solutions to meet program and client needs.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for government stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
• Builds, strengthens, and manages relationships with a large network of teaming partners across multiple contracts.
• Ensures full compliance with all staffing requirements, credentialing standards, and program criteria.
• Coordinates activities spanning pre-award planning through post-award execution to ensure operational readiness and successful service delivery.
• Monitors performance metrics, identifies risks, and supports continuous improvement efforts across the staffing program.
• Recruits healthcare providers for current and prospective clients, including screening and interviewing candidates, supporting salary negotiations, and guiding selected candidates through the onboarding/credentialing process with support from the ICSP team.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
