Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a seasoned Strategy & Transformation Consultant to support FDA programs from the McLean, VA area. The role requires direct engagement with executive leadership, ownership of delivery, and strong project-management discipline.

You will lead high-visibility initiatives across budget, acquisition, and business transformation, mentor junior staff, and develop executive-level briefings for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of professional experience supporting federal clients with project management and delivery execution.
• Experience developing executive-level communications, including briefings, presentations, and decision materials.
• Experience managing multiple project teams, including assigning work and tracking progress.
• Strong ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on budgetary, operational, organizational, and process improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with FDA leadership, program offices, and external stakeholders.
• Lead high-visibility projects supporting FDA priorities, including budget, acquisition, and business transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate executive meetings and leadership briefings, translating data into actionable insights.
• Oversee staffing allocations across multiple workstreams on a weekly basis.
• Provide hands-on project management oversight, including planning, risk management, and performance tracking.
