Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Strategy & Transformation Consultant to support federal clients, including FDA priorities. You will lead high‑visibility initiatives, translate data into executive‑ready insights, and manage staffing across workstreams while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with FDA leadership and cross‑functional teams, mentor junior staff, and help shape governance, PMO development, and workforce planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• PMP certification required.
• 5+ years of professional experience supporting federal clients.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership.
• Experience developing executive‑level communications, including briefings, presentations, and decision materials.
• Experience managing multiple project teams and staffing across workstreams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted advisor to leadership on budgetary, operational, organizational, and process improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with FDA leadership, program offices, and external stakeholders.
• Lead high-visibility projects including budget, acquisition, and business transformation initiatives.
• Facilitate executive meetings, working groups, and leadership briefings.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership audiences.
• Own deliverable quality and ensure client-ready work across teams.
• Develop concise executive briefings and decision materials for senior leaders.
• Manage weekly staffing allocations across multiple workstreams.
• Validate weekly/bi-weekly objectives and quality against client expectations.
• Provide hands-on project management oversight including planning and risk management.
• Support IT-enabled initiatives and modernization efforts.
• Apply graphic design principles to deliver high-quality visuals.
