Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Senior Federal Solution Consultant to support our Federal Contractors and agencies. You will demonstrate Workday HCM capabilities, engage in discovery, and deliver tailored demonstrations for potential customers.

The role requires 5+ years in Workday HCM, 3+ years ERP experience in presales or consulting, and willingness to travel up to 50%. You will collaborate across Product Management, Consulting Services, Marketing, and Value Management to translate business needs

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Workday HCM domain expertise across HR, Compensation, Benefits, recruiting and/or learning.
• 3+ years ERP experience, ideally in Presales, Implementation, or Consulting.
• Workday implementation/configuration expertise (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical platform and product presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and seminars.
• Advanced presentation and demonstration skills.
• Assist in the lifecycle of sales opportunities by demonstrating understanding of solution, services, and training.
• Support deep dive configuration required to execute real-life scenario-based demonstrations.
• Contribute to qualification of prospects, strategy, proposed demonstration criteria, pilot system builds and sales closure plans.
• Support all sales, marketing, partner, technical and channel objectives.
• Assist sales in responding to RFPs.
• Participate in discovery sessions with sales to understand pain points and current business processes.
• Use ERP-product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales and customers through presentations and demonstrations.
• Assist Workday professional services and partners with detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.
• Ability to travel 50%.
